Vd. Triguna is a recipient of “Padmashree & Padmabhushan” award for his contribution in the field of Ayurvedic Chikitsa. He was Hony. Physician to the former President of India. He is born in a family of traditional Vaidyas. His father Vd. Brihaspati Dev Triguna was a renowned Nadi Vaidya in India and abroad. He was also awarded with Padmabhushan & Padmavibhushan by the President of India. Vd. Devinder Triguna has been in clinical practice for the past 45 years and gathered rich experience in successful treatment of chronic & complicated disorders and providing free consultation to over 300-400 patients every day. He is honorary physician of a number of VIP’s and elite. He is President of All India Ayurvedic Congress. He is former Visitor, Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, Member, Central Council of Indian Medicine, President of Governing Body of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth and member, Central Council of Research in Ayurveda & Siddha, ex-member, Executive Council, Banaras Hindu University, Ex-member of Chitrakoot University, M.P., member of the Board of Management of Punjab Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur. He is also a member of various other committees under Govt. of India like Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia Committee, A.S.U.T.AB. & member, ESI Corporation. He is a former member of Advisory Committee in Ayurveda under Govt. of Gujarat, Delhi, UP, Sikkim & other states. He was awarded D.Lit by Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar. He was awarded D.Litt. (Vachaspati) by Amity Deemed University & Lal Bahadur Shastri, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Deemed University, Delhi. For development & propagation of Ayurveda, with Kind blessings of Pujya Mahrishi Mahesh Yogi ji, he visited several foreign countries like USA, Canada, Europe, Latin America, West Africa, East South Asia, Japan, USSR, Australia and New Zealand on invitation and treats thousands of patients in abroad. He was also honoured by Sri Lankan Health Minister in Colombo ‘Ayurveda Kirti’ and ‘Kentucky Colonel’ by Govt. of Kentucky (USA). The Govt. of India awarded him with Rashtriya Dhanwantari Award and also first Maharishi Dhanwantari Award in Holland with 10,000 $ given by Hon’ble Shri Sripad Yesso Naik ji, Minister of State (incharge) AYUSH.
